A three-month programme for women in Finance, Risk and Audit

Positioned.

Being trusted to deliver is not the same as being positioned for what you want next.

You have built a strong track record and a credible career. Yet it is still not quite where you wanted it to be.

Positioned gives you three months to step back, gain perspective and take action on what you want next.

Applying does not commit you to payment.

Before 2027 begins

When doing good work is not enough

You have worked hard to get here. But getting to where you want to go next is feeling harder than you thought it would be.

As 2026 comes to an end, perhaps you are thinking:

  • Surely the quality of my work should speak for itself.
  • I am doing everything right on paper, so why am I still not moving forward?
  • I thought this was the year I would land that promotion. Instead, the conversation keeps moving to next year.
  • I know I have more to offer, but I am not getting the opportunities to show what I can do at the next level.
  • I need to be more visible, but it feels like I am performing.
  • I am exhausted from trying to prove myself.
  • I know something needs to change. I have worked towards this for so long, I am not sure it is still what I want.

You already know you are capable of more. The next step does not have to mean working harder or taking on more.

Good work gets you noticed. Being deliberate about your career is what moves it forward.

Who Positioned is for

For experienced women ready to take action on what comes next.

Typically a Senior Manager, Head of Function or Director in Finance, Risk or Audit. Positioned gives you three months to become truly intentional about your career, and a method you can use again whenever you need it, whether your next move is:

A woman standing at a window, looking out, deep in thought
  • A promotionThe next role up, with more seniority, responsibility and influence.
  • Broader scopeA bigger remit at your level: more range, more exposure, more of the organisation.
  • A lateral moveA different role that builds the experience your next step needs.
  • Something newExploring a different direction, or building a new skill.

You do not need to know which one before you begin.

What will be different

From thinking about your next move to acting on it.

Positioned is a small group coaching programme, with one-to-one support built in.

You also have two one-to-one sessions to focus completely on your own priorities and what you need to move forward with intention.

By the end of January, you will not only be clearer on what you want next, you will already be working towards it.

See what is included
  • Clarity about what you want next, and what success means to you now
  • A clear view of what is helping and hindering your progress
  • Language for the value and impact you already bring
  • A way to be more visible without becoming performative
  • A plan that takes your energy and the rest of your life seriously
  • A focused strategy, with your first action already under way

About Alicia

Being deliberate about your career takes courage.

I have spent more than 20 years across Finance, Risk, Audit and Learning and Development, from Big Four practice to a FTSE 100 insurer, leading teams and strategic programmes and working closely with C-suite leaders.

My own career has taken me further than I imagined. I have not always got it right. I have been through burnout, and learned that trade-offs land very differently when they are conscious and intentional.

You can be successful and still underestimate what you have built.

Good work alone rarely moves a career. It takes being strategic about what you want, and the courage to act on it, while staying true to who you are. That is why I created Positioned.

In their words

What clients say about working with me.

I was sceptical about coaching. After just five sessions, I have a new direction, renewed purpose, and genuine re-engagement in my career. The hard work is still mine, but I finally have clarity about the future I want.
Regional Financial Controller
Alicia understands the world I operate in and asks the questions others won’t. I came away with a clearer plan and a far better balance between my professional and personal priorities.
Head of Internal Audit
Alicia created a space that felt safe, constructive and genuinely supportive. I’ve learned to celebrate my own strengths without waiting for external validation.

The Positioned approach

Three areas that matter when you are making a significant career move.

We cover one area each month, to help you get clear on where you are, where you want to go and how you will get there, with a practical strategy for your next move.

Four women working together around a table with notebooks and coffee
01 · Identity · November

Who are you now, and what do you want the next stage of your career to give you?

We look at the career you have built, what you may still feel you need to prove, and what you want more, and less, of now.

Your ambition stays. We make sure it is genuinely yours.

02 · Self-leadership · December

How do you need to lead yourself differently for the career you want next?

Being the dependable one. Absorbing more. Proving you can cope. The habits that built your career can start to hold it back.

Progression should not depend on extracting more from yourself.

03 · Strategy · January

How will you position yourself for the move you want to make?

What are you known for, and who would advocate for you when you are not in the room?

This is where clarity turns into a plan you can act on.

What you get

Frequently asked questions

Positioned is for experienced women, typically Senior Manager, Head of Function or Director in Finance, Risk or Audit, who know they are capable of more and are ready to take action on their next move. It is not limited to Finance, Risk and Audit, and works just as well for women in adjacent professions.

It may not be right for you just now if you mainly want help with your CV, a job application or interview preparation, or if you are in the early stages of building your career.

No. The process works whether you are clear on your next move or still deciding, because you apply it to your own situation.

No. Positioned does not promise a promotion. It gives you the clarity, strategy and support to position yourself well for the opportunities you want. What you do with it, and the decisions your organisation makes, are outside what any programme can guarantee.

Up to eight experienced women, mostly in Finance, Risk and Audit and typically Senior Manager to Director. I review every application so the group is well matched.

The six 90-minute group sessions will be held in November, December and January, with two sessions each month, followed by a follow-up session in March 2027. Days and times will be agreed with the group before we start. The application form includes a range of proposed days and times, and I will finalise them based on what works best for the group.

Once the times are agreed, I will ask you to commit to them. I understand this may not always be possible, and if something comes up, we will work out the best way to make sure you do not miss out. Your two one-to-one sessions are booked separately, at times that suit you.

Yes to both. Pay £1,495 in full or four payments of £385 (£1,540 including an administration fee); invoices come from Noble Arc Limited, and I can send your employer a short summary.

It needs a minimum of four women. If it does not run, you receive a full refund; full terms are in the participant agreement you receive before paying.

Get a head start on 2027.

Start now, and go into the new year clear on your next move and with a plan already under way.
